Filling Sri Lanka's empty seats
YamuShare is a Colombo-born carpooling platform on a simple mission: make city-to-city travel affordable, safe and a little more human.
Our story
Thousands of cars travel between Sri Lanka's cities every day, most of them carrying a single person. At the same time, intercity buses and trains run full, and private hires cost more than most families can justify. YamuShare closes that gap by matching hosts with empty seats to passengers heading the same way.
We verify every host, keep pricing tied to real fuel costs, and make reliability visible through ratings earned trip by trip. The result is travel that costs less, pollutes less, and feels a lot friendlier than the alternatives.
Trust above all
Verification, transparent ratings and human support on every trip.
Community first
Hosts and passengers are neighbours, not anonymous accounts.
Greener travel
Every shared seat takes another car off the A1 and A2.
Fair pricing
Cost sharing, not profiteering — no surge pricing, ever.
